Hi, I'm Lisa and this is my journey from Academia to Roofer.

great roof starts with great resilience, and I believe my journey from college professor to running a successful roofing company is a testament to resilience and determination. After feeling burnt out by administrative changes in academia, I found a new path in the roofing business. Despite knowing the facts about the competitive nature of Florida's market, I expanded my company, and my decision paid off. Just two days after obtaining my Florida roofing license, Hurricane Ian struck, which caused widespread devastation across the state. In response, I and my crew began working tirelessly to ensure that roofs were intact and homeowners were protected from further harm.

My commitment to the community goes beyond business, that is because I actively participate in charity and planning to donate a roof to a veteran by year's end. My passion for roofing is matched by my drive to help others, a trait that is honed through overcoming personal challenges, including epilepsy, a traumatic brain injury, and surviving cancer.

Throughout my journey, I have embraced every challenge, whether managing permit complexities or navigating a male-dominated industry. I believe in building my business, not just on quality roofing but on a foundation of empathy, service, and an unwavering belief in the power of community and personal growth.
